Interdisciplinary Workshop on Global Security (WISG)

The Interdisciplinary Workshop on Global Security (WISG), an annual gathering of security research stakeholders, took place this year at Espace Ouest Lyonnais on 16 and 17 October.

On the agenda for this 12th edition was among other things:

  • Global Security: From basic research to targeted research for first responders
  • The international approach to critical infrastructure resilience
  • A round table discussion on the theme "Imagining the operational needs of tomorrow's security forces: from dream to reality?“

A poster session was held to meet and exchange ideas between research stakeholders. In this context, partner CETU also presented the U-THREAT project.

The WISG is organised by the National Research Agency (ANR) in collaboration with the Directorate General for Research and Innovation (DGRI), the Directorate General for Armaments (DGA) and the General Secretariat for Defence and National Security (SGDSN).
