Cooperation with the German BMVI

U-THREAT is not just made up of the eight partners and four associated partners. In addition, various other institutions, transport companies and associations are involved in the processing of research tasks. Only in this way is it possible to generate results with great added value for the practice and to avoid so-called isolated solutions.

Since April 2018, the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) has also been actively involved in U-THREAT. As part of a smaller panel of experts with the participation of the Association of German Transport Companies (VDV) in Bonn research approaches and initial results were discussed. The cooperation should be further intensified in order, among other things, to clarify the question of financing resilience-enhancing measures in public transport.
