The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) organized an innovation forum in Berlin on 19 and 20 June 2018 under the motto "Civil security: analog and digital". The event was aimed at interested players from science, the economy as well as users and end users. Likewise addressed were authorities and organizations with security tasks as well as political decision makers.

The Innovation Forum provided a broad platform for the presentation of current research results and future topics as well as for the discussion of interdisciplinary issues in various specialist sessions. The contents of U-THREAT were presented and discussed during the session "Safe on the move, also underground" by the project coordinator Dr. Christian Thienert of STUVA. Also represented was U-THREAT in an accompanying poster exhibition, inter alia with by Dr. Alexander Dahl of PTV AG.
